This spaghetti recipe with delicious vegetable sauce takes less than an hour to make and turns into a perfect, homemade spaghetti dinner. The sauce is made from scratch and is loaded with a ton of vegetables like mushrooms, onions, carrots, bell peppers and tomatoes.
Follow the instructions on the package and cook the spaghetti noodles in boiling water. Always add a tbsp of olive oil in the boiling water to avoid sticking of the noodles.
Add chopped red and green onions to the pan. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Add chopped bell peppers, carrots and mushrooms. Cook all these veggies for 5 to 6 minutes.
Add salt, black pepper, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garlic powder, oregano. Mix well.
Now add crushed tomatoes.
Cook the sauce with the lid; on low flame for another 10 minutes.
Add lime juice and tomato ketchup. Add cooked spaghetti noodles into the sauce. Toss nicely. Garnish with chopped green onions and shredded cheese and serve hot!
