Ingredients

  • 4 cups Milk
  • 1/2 cup Almonds roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup Cashews roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp Vanilla Custard Powder
  • 1/4 cup Warm Water
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries chopped
  • 1 cup Ripe Bananas Chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Rose Syrup

Instructions

  • Add milk to a pan. Add chopped almonds and cashews.
  • Heat on low and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occassionally.
  • Add custard powder to warm water and mix well. Slowly pour this to the hot milk mixture, while continuously stirring. Make sure no lumps are formed.
  • Keep in the fridge for 4-5 hours and let it chill.
  • Add cardamom powder, rose syrup, bananas and strawberries.
  • Mix well and serve chilled!

Notes

  1. Don’t add custard powder directly to milk, it will form lumps. Mix the custard powder in warm water well before adding to milk.
  2. Add fresh fruits to chilled custard milk, otherwise the fruit will get soggy and mushy.
