- 1/2 cup Almonds roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup Cashews roughly chopped
- 2 tbsp Vanilla Custard Powder
- 1/4 cup Warm Water
- 1 cup Fresh Strawberries chopped
- 1 cup Ripe Bananas Chopped
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp Rose Syrup
Instructions
- Add milk to a pan. Add chopped almonds and cashews.
- Heat on low and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occassionally.
- Add custard powder to warm water and mix well. Slowly pour this to the hot milk mixture, while continuously stirring. Make sure no lumps are formed.
- Keep in the fridge for 4-5 hours and let it chill.
- Add cardamom powder, rose syrup, bananas and strawberries.
- Mix well and serve chilled!
Notes
- Don’t add custard powder directly to milk, it will form lumps. Mix the custard powder in warm water well before adding to milk.
- Add fresh fruits to chilled custard milk, otherwise the fruit will get soggy and mushy.
