Savory French Toast for Breakfast
Do you prefer sweet or savory breakfast? I love sweet breakfast but I always lean towards savoury. Have you heard of savory french toast then? Traditionally, french toast is sweet and is served with maple syrup or honey. I do love classic french toast but this savory version is my go-to lately.
Is it always hard for you to choose between pancakes and french toast? Well, problem solves. I gave your weekend brunch menu a new, savory addition. You don’t have to choose anymore, you can make both!
I have added fresh cilantro and cumin seeds to bring out the flavours. And of course the delicious TOPPINGS: fresh tomatoes, lime juice and fragrant mint leaves bring the whole recipe together making it a perfect breakfast or brunch dish. The recipe is delicious, comforting and super easy to make.

Notes
- Cook the french toast on the medium-low heat to get it perfectly golden, crispy from outside and soft from inside.
- Coat the bread from all the sides by dipping it in the egg mixture. Do not leave the bread in the bowl to soak all the egg mixture. This will leave the bread soggy and uncooked from inside.
